Yesterday Bashar killed another Syrian child

the Arab league was really sad to hear that

                                                and they were very sorry indeed

and I’ve had my calendar with me on the bus

everyday adding more crimson drops on the go

                                                as my notes are about to bleed

                                               

today I lost the track of carmine

once realized I’d miss my stop

and when I looked at my calendar again

it was all contaminated by blood

                                                ah, I wish I could end this screed!
