Natural Inquire

Once upon a xylography session,

          the block turned to the lint:

                   “ever been to a crucible?”

it kept asking the same question

          after every single print

                   until it was put in the inkwell

which cooled down its obsession …

          but it was made out of flint

                   and would ask for fire again!
